In today’s environment brands are preparing for one of the most important moments of the year while facing pressure on every side. Rising acquisition costs, unpredictable consumer behavior, and intense competition mean that simply driving traffic is not enough. What separates the brands that grow profitably from the ones that struggle is the strength of their retention strategy. At @careandwear we always prioritize retention as a core growth lever. It is the foundation that allows us to scale responsibly and reinvest with confidence. When you have a community with returning customers, you gain the flexibility to weather volatility, test new channels, and deploy capital where it counts. This past Sunday, we were able to host a Sunday funday for the ages where we had incredible group of friends and leaders at the NY Jets game with our friends at @retentiondotcom who generously sponsored the suite (thanks @walkerstroud for making the cross country trek!). Huge thanks to their team for creating a space where founders and operators could connect away from the noise while still talking about the fundamentals that matter, especially heading into holiday. A few themes came up repeatedly during the conversations in the suite. • Strong LTV gives you room to invest even when CPMs spike • Retention is not a post purchase task. It starts with product, continues through experience, and compounds with community • The best brands are finding ways to personalize communication at scale, not just automate it Special thanks to everyone who joined us for an afternoon of good energy, good football (even a Jets win!), an incredible ice cream sundae cart, and even better discussion. The views from the suite were incredible and the chance to connect with so many leaders in one place was even better.

While people may be saying the “heyday” of e-commerce is over, there has been a renewed focus on driving consumer loyalty across categories including beauty, supplements, and apparel. In today’s world, having a sound retention strategy is more important than ever. At @careandwear , we have been blessed with incredible loyalty and have seen the benefits of a strong retention program play out first hand. Earlier this week, we took out our passports and brought our first Founders Only event to Brooklyn. We were thrilled to do an official pre-launch event at @othership Williamsburg, giving founders and executives an exclusive look and tour of the beautiful facility with a special guided session. We were able to experience the true community feel and had everyone buzzing and talking shop, discussing what good vs great looks like in terms of retention strategy in today’s competitive and changing landscape. We all tried to deploy these strategies to keep ourselves warm when jumping into the cold plunge! While we have never done a hot sauna / cold plunge event before, this event was brought to us by Kyle Standaert and the team at @retentiondotcom . Kyle has pushed us to do more dinners and helped drive us to host events at the NBA playoffs and then several suites with the Yankees while also expanding our reach outside of NYC with our Miami and LA dinners. We are grateful to them for enabling us to try something unique and drive some great discussions while getting to practice some self-care. We’re grateful to awesome group that came. We’re especially grateful to @siobeauty @asbeautyb @caraway_home for providing some take home gifts and @vitacoco and @robertaspizza for some much needed refreshment! A special thank you to @sltnyc for ensuring we keep the self care going with a class for each participant
