I stopped in front of the Abortion Archive and had to actually breathe. Every clipping, badge, poster — what it has taken, and still takes, to fight for bodily autonomy. A few days at Women Deliver 2026 in Narrm/Melbourne. 6,000 delegates. 189 countries. I came as a Women Deliver Emerging Leader and left with friendships, scars, and a clearer spine. These conversations happened on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation. Sovereignty was never ceded. a few moments I'm still sitting with 👇🏽 🌀 day one at the Youth Pre-Conference with YIELD Hub + Restless Development. People said the quiet part out loud: big orgs micromanage small ones, the Global North decides what's "palatable" to fund, and real partnership needs trust, not templates. 🌀 being in a room with UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina J. Mohammed. quietly losing it. 🌀 Girls Deliver with Girl Rising + Girl Up. two things stuck — complex language is a barrier even when the work is for girls, and we have to bring boys in as partners not afterthoughts. The Adolescent Girls Manifesto (link in the comment) names girls as rights holders, leaders, decision makers. non-negotiable. 🌀 meeting Mabel Bianco of Argentina's green wave. abortion rights are economic rights. health rights. family rights. they shape everyone. 🌀 the Melbourne Conversations stage on youth + climate justice with Jacynta Fa'amau, @jeanlola.h , Amy Nahirya, moderated by Tanya Ha. more on that next post 🎥 🌀 the friendships. the kind that make the work feel less heavy and the world feel smaller. The Melbourne Declaration now has 400+ endorsements, 200 organisations, 10 states. Add your voice — link in the comment. Change calls us here. The work continues beyond Narrm. 🌏 . . . #WomenDeliver2026 #WD2026 #WomenDeliver #EmergingLeaders #GenderEquality #SRHR #BodilyAutonomy #ReproductiveJustice #ClimateJustice #YouthLeadership #AdolescentGirlsEra #MelbourneDeclaration #FeministFinancing #GirlRising #GirlUp #UNWomen #Narrm #Melbourne #FirstNations #SovereigntyNeverCeded #FeministLeadership #IntersectionalFeminism #GlobalSouth

Change called us here! The UNGEI partnership was well represented at Women Deliver in Naarm (Melbourne)! We are grateful to the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Kulin Nations, the Traditional Custodians of the land, for welcoming us. Whether it was through speaking in plenary, co-organising side events, meeting with new and current partners, or dancing, we were championing gender equality in and through education! Our key takeaways? ➡️ Education is a key tool to advance gender equality and we must transform the education system to be able to achieve this. ➡️ The women’s rights movement and the education movement must work together to advance our shared mission! ➡️ The power of partnership is necessary now more than ever! It takes a multi-stakeholder approach, including working with governments, CSOs, girls’ and young feminists, UN agencies, philanthropy and research to truly be effective. This is what UNGEI is all about! ➡️ We must join forces to mobilize resources together and continue to encourage governments to invest in education and gender equality. This includes funding girls’ and young feminists! Thank you @women_deliver for convening this important space. We look forward to continuing to work together! Were you at #WD2026? Share your reflections below!

Some of our Prep School took part in a charity triathlon for @restlessdevelopment last Sunday. We had four teams, one made up of Year 3 and 4s (the Clayesmore Cheetahs) and three made up of Year 5 and 6s (the Clayesmore Comets, Clayesmore Chasers and Clayesmore Canters). The students had great fun taking part, having to complete a 50m swim, 1000m cycle and 75m run each. Between them they raised £1400! Well done all involved! #clayesmore #triathlon #schoolsport #charity #dorset

Prep pupils are looking forward to the Knight Frank Schools Triathlon on Sunday and have been finding creative ways to raise money for @restlessdevelopment – a charity which promotes youth leadership and helps young people to drive change all around the world. Ethan, Murray, Theo and Yaman – ‘The Spotty Champion Chickens’ – ran a stall selling delicious baked goods along with football and Pokemon cards, and they enjoyed entertaining their supporters by busking too. Very well done! 👏👏👏 Really good luck to everyone taking part on Sunday. 🚲🏊🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ #prepschool #prepschoollife #claphammums #ParkgateSport #ParkgateCharities
