At Underestimated UG, we believe that the womxn pushed to the margins hold the power to transform their communities and our job is to make sure nothing stands in their way.
Inclusion means more than opening a door. It means dismantling the barriers that kept it locked. It means resources reaching the womxn who need them most. It means grassroots voices shaping the systems that govern their lives.
Every day, we work with marginalized womxn across Uganda in advocacy, in access to essential services, and in development programs designed with them, not just for them.
Because a community that leaves anyone behind isn’t truly whole. 🌍
If you believe every womxn deserves to be seen, heard, and supported follow our journey and share this post. Together, we build an Uganda where no one is underestimated .

Too many talented people are kept out of leadership because of who they are , not what they can do. At Underestimated UG, we’re changing that narrative.
Inclusive leadership means:
✅ Listening to voices that have been silenced
✅ Sharing power, not hoarding it
✅ Building teams that reflect the communities we serve
You belong at the table. And if there’s no seat, we build a bigger one together.
Nobody talks about how exhausting it is to pretend you’re okay. 💚
This May Mental Health Awareness Month Underestimated UG is creating space for honest conversations about mental health.
✅You don’t have to be “strong” all the time.
✅You don’t have to suffer in silence.
✅You are allowed to ask for help.
To anyone who’s been told their struggles aren’t valid we see you. We hear you. And we’re here. 🫂

Disability inclusion is more than just a checklist or a ramp at the door. It’s about shift in perspective. 🧠✨
It means:
✅Valuing diverse perspectives.
✅ Removing physical and digital barriers.
✅ Ensuring everyone has an equal seat at the table.
When we design for all bodies and minds, the entire community thrives. Let’s make inclusion the standard, not the exception. 🙌 ♿️
The team at Underestimated UG has officially completed The Brand Building Lab Vol. 2 , an 11-week intensive covering everything from design foundations to AI integration and professional business practice.
This wasn’t just a course. It was a commitment to growth, to craft, and to building something that lasts. We showed up every week, did the work, and came out sharper on the other side.
Big gratitude to everyone who made this possible. The journey to elevating structurally excluded creative talent is ongoing and we’re just getting started.
About 1 in 6 people lives with a disability. That’s your colleague, your neighbor, maybe you. And yet so many spaces both physical and digital still weren’t built with PWDs in mind.
Here’s the thing: when we actually include PWDs in the design process, everything gets better for everyone.
So next time you’re building something, a product, a meeting, an event , ask yourself: who might we be leaving out? Then fix that.

Inclusive governance includes everyone. Womxn with disabilities in rural Uganda are not a footnote, they are leaders, advocates, and change-makers who deserve power in the spaces that shape their lives.
At Underestimated UG, inclusion is not the goal. It’s the foundation.
