Happy New Year! It's taken me a few days to recover from our fifth NYE Live Nashville's Big Bash on @cbstv . Such a big show; live music and instruments, five hours, 23 cameras, drone, two midnights, three locations, and fireworks. This year was a first ever for me on a live show when we lost power in the middle of a Lainey Wilson performance about 40 minutes in. The truck went completely black - monitors, coms all out but thanks to a great team we were back on the air 12 minutes later and continued on!!! Well that was fun! I'll admit I wasn't well-versed in Dungeons & Dragons when I got the call to work on a live version of @dimension20show ; a hugely popular series on @dropouttv where an improv cast play the game and through storytelling immerse the audience in every move and character. But I'm a live TV gal so the challenge of bringing to screens the sold out show at Madison Square Garden made me immerse myself in their world! Led by the game master and true ringleader @brennanleemulligan and a cast of incredible intrepid heroes, the show was played before 20,000 excited fans. Thanks Brennan, Michael, David, Carlos, Rick, Ebony, and Clint for your collaboration and trust. Big shoutout to dga team led by Adam and Jeffry and ace ny cameras and crew.
