I an often asked if I have a regular practice. Yes! But it looks like this, 3 mins here and there (obvs this is sped up), while my tea is brewing or take a break from a desk, kids mess and all. It's not much but it's better than nothing and ensures I am not as stiff as a plank by the end of the day!! #pilatesfromhome #adoreyourcore #quickworkout

A 4 min kitchen stretch condensed into 1min..this is why I am always in joggers, any opportunity to stretch (with a bit of core) and so often about the side bends! my back, hips and waist feel so tight from so much sitting and toddler bed sharing!! #sppedypilates #quickstretch #pilatesanywhere #kitchenstretch

Hakkō House & Re-Stack Pilates are teaming up again and we’re excited to bring you our next Pilates & Sushi Brunch Club! 🍣🧘🏻‍♀️ It will be on Sunday 28th January from 10.30am, and this time we’re coming to the amazing @makersyardsomerset 🙌 The day will start with a nurturing, mixed ability pilates class led by the wonderful Veronica, with tea & energy balls. We’ll then sit down for an authentic Japanese lunch of sushi with tsuekomono pickles, miso broth & wakame salad. To finish we’ll have raw chocolates with turmeric lattes. Food is all gluten free, with vegan options too. Your future self will thank you for carving out some time for yourself, with a wonderfully wholesome & nourishing session. Thanks so much for the feature @thefromelist I haven't done much to promote my teaching and classes since moving to Frome a couple of years ago, I've been loving teaching Mum & Baby Pilates at @risefrome and doing a few collaborations with the amazing @hakko_uk . June offer! As I am slowly planning to teach more over the coming months I have decided to run an offer for June of a block of 4 one to one's or two to one classes for £100, so £25/ 1hr class which you can have to yourself or share with a pal/partner. Sessions can be booked in across the summer months.The sessions will be fully tailored to your needs, whether these include gaining strength,.flexibility supporting rehabilitation, supporting running/cycling training etc. Each block will start with goal setting, posture assessment and will include take home exercises to extend the benefits of the sessions. So I was unsure about whether to post anything linked to #ceasarianawarenessmonth as I had a cesarean over 4.5 years ago followed by a vbac over 2 years ago, but then I decided to have what I thought was a very delayed #mummymot last week at the brilliant @toptotoephysio motivated by wanting to get my scar checked for elasticity and whether any tightness might be linked to some stomach pains I've been experiencing for months.  Here are some thoughts... 1.  My c-section was an emergency procedure after an induction that went to pot. I was totally unprepared,  always thought I'd have a very chilled, no intervention no drugs birth. I was in for a shocker! But when I look at my scar now which to be fair you can barely see, I feel a bit like a warrior and I am proud of it - csections are mega!
