The most therapeutic part of my job is chair caning.
There’s something so calming about weaving the strands together, transforming a worn out piece of furniture into something beautiful and functional again. 🌿
Such a joy working with this beautiful handwoven fabric by @arumfellow for their @decorex_international show. These rosewood dining chairs by Poul H. Poulsen for Gangsø Møbler are a stunning example of mid-century Danish design
Dreamy day in the studio, recovering these gorgeous traditional armchairs underneath the beautiful floral cloud by @earthandivystudio

Loved working on this chair. Traditionally reupholstered using coconut fibre and horse hair, with a matching cushion. Mid 1800s cava that’s stayed in the clients family.
@linwood_fabric velvet is a joy to use.
Last picture is a @silkenfavours cabbage cushion that looks delicious with the green velvet 💚
Eye of the Wood is 1! ✨🎂✨
I’ve had such a fun year growing this little shop, and meeting so my wonderful people along the way. Excited for the next year ahead! This was me and Archie the first day we opened 🪵👁️🪵 @eyeofthewood
Candid shot, working on the @hakko_uk banquettes. Inside leatherette seating.
If you haven’t been to their new restaurant at @marstonpark you’re missing out! 🍣
