Still digesting the rather surreal opportunity to photograph our show in this devastatingly picturesque glass house. I’m proud of these lush documents, which I hope do their job to honor the important and generous work done by every participant for this quiet house party. Here are a few snaps of some of the ‘Built In’ works doing their thing to settle in, just so. More pictures soon as well as a virtual tour and the release of an exhibition catalog. ‘Built In’ runs until 7 Nov @vdlhouse . When in doubt, build in! The 3,000-square-foot center is the first-of-its-kind in the United States, with six local organizations joining forces to create this new home for wellness. The TWC was conceived and created by community leaders and allies, honoring their lifelong dedication to raise awareness about the needs and the contributions of the transgender community.” - @transwellnesscenter “Jaci is in need of resources and financial support after this week’s recent events. We are creating this fund in hopes of securing housing, food, equipment, and ongoing health resources for this talented artist.  Jaci is a trans black + latinx photographer, visual artist, and advocate based in Los Angeles.
