We’re pleased to share that the @gctitans High Performance Centre has received development approval, marking a significant milestone for this landmark sporting project on the Gold Coast.   Located within the Emerald Lakes sporting precinct at Carrara, the approved facility is envisioned as a world-class high-performance environment that supports elite athlete development while also delivering long-term benefits for the wider community. A new landmark has been approved for the heart of Broadbeach. The Sandpiper site is set to be transformed into 155 OBR, a fifty-two storey residential tower, an elegant form inspired by the gentle contours of the Gold Coast.   The tower’s architecture is contemporary and timeless, defined by soft, flowing edges, a glazed façade, and integrated sun-shading that responds to the subtropical climate. The sculpted floor plate and strong horizontal expression create a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, while carefully considered solid and transparent elements provide privacy and environmental performance.   The podium, designed as a layered, floating element above an open and welcoming ground plane, enhances the streetscape with warm, honest materials and lush planting, inviting a strong connection with the public realm. Presenting our most recent tower to achieve Development Approval with @cityofgoldcoast , designed in collaboration with Abedian & Co, Mary Avenue provides a sculptural form rising from the coastal landscape of Broadbeach.   Undulating curves, cascading greenery, and a dynamic façade create a striking dialogue with its surroundings - where light, shadow, and texture shift throughout the day. The tower’s distinctive silhouette is a response to its coastal context, capturing sweeping ocean and hinterland views while softening the transition between sky and street. The overall design of the tower is fluid and flowing and incorporates fine grain materials with luscious landscaping to create a tower that will be an elegant addition to the Broadbeach skyline.
