Last week, I had the honour of being part of an amazing movement: Dear Iran🌷 A night filled with our culture, art, and a spark from the community in Los Angeles. All with the purpose of echoing the voices of our brothers and sisters 🦁✌🏽 @obeygiant , Shepeard Fairey - a massive voice in the arts and activist community, one of the few brave enough to not only speak up, but dedicate an entire mural in @melroseartsdistrict at @thefameyard A full-circle moment for me personally, being in the diaspora and struggling to find a place on how to help over the last few months. It was a pleasure using our creative vision at @blackops.ai .ai to help bring the full direction and visual experience for this amazing event by @weare_refugee to life. Many thank yous to go around, from the teams, caterers, performers, and organizers. Thank you for standing up with us. 💚🤍❤️

Shepard Fairey (@obeygiant ) x Dear Iran (@weare_refugee ) “Someone very special has stood up for the voiceless people of Iran at a time when no one outside of our community really has. This great human, who is so comfortable in his humanity that he is not worried about how others perceive his activism.” “At a time when they are trying hard to separate us, he not only stood up, his heroism has cascaded a whole culture to stand up and bring awareness to the atrocities that are happening to the people of Iran. Thank you Mr Shepard Fairey for being who you are.” – Reza Moazezi, Founder – Dear Iran (Refugee) @respectinator Visit @thefameyard , take in the powerful beauty of Shepard’s work and stand with Dear Iran. I would like to wish a Happy Châhâr Shanbe Soori, the great ancient Zoroastrian festivities of the Grand Wednesday harvest before Norooz (Spring Equinox) to all the Iranians inside Iran who are risking their lives in order to celebrate this ancient tradition.

This song is dedicated to the people of Iran who have been living under oppression for far too long. May you taste freedom soon enough 🙏 “Dear Iran” video out now 💚🤍❤️ #DearIran #IranJaan

Dear Iran, Iran Jaan. This Song and movement sparked from the hearts of a group of lovers aching for our people back in Iran. Especially for our youth. For some time I had been getting premonitions to make art to move our people. To echo their voices. To do what little we can to shed light and bring hope. To let them know they are not alone. As a catalyst, I invited some of my dear brothers from different walks of life, who are all masters in their respective crafts, to make this magic happen. I have a tremendous amount of respect and love for my brothers as each one of them went above and beyond to bring you all this masterful art piece. My sincerest gratitude to these amazing humans. Go feel this one! @weare_refugee @rmean @faredshafinury @babaksaeediofficial

My heart breaks for the Women of Iran and every nation that is oppressed. All these God sayers have completely forgotten the Goddess. The portal of life itself. To raising strong unapologetic Women.🧿

Land is from the creator and belongs to no one!! If you must pick a side based on your beliefs then pick the side of being human!! We are all one race, the human race!! Change starts from us. Post a peace sign instead and stop letting the Puppeteers pull your strings and divide us further.. Hafez on Becoming Human: Once a man came to me and spoke for hours about the great visions of God, he felt he was having. He asked me for confirmation, saying ‘Are these wondrous dreams true?’ I replied, ‘How many goats do you have?’ He looked surprised and said, ‘I am speaking of sublime visions and you ask about goats?’ And I spoke again, saying, ‘Yes brother — how many do you have?’ ‘Well, Hafez, I have sixty two.’ ‘And how many wives?’ Again he looked surprised, then said, ‘Four.’ ‘How many rose bushes in your garden? How many children? Are your parents still alive? Do you feed the birds in winter?’ And to all he answered. Then I said, ‘You asked me if I thought your visions were true. I would say that they were if they made you become more human, more kind to every creature and plant that you know.’
