CALL OUT • We remain و نبقى • * Resistances in SWANA: Anchoring through movement * Our lineages of resistance do not only live in archives, they live in our bodies, and this is an invitation to move with them. As part of my artistic research, I am offering a series of intimate, one-on-one embodied encounters with womxn and queer people of SWANA descent - bringing together movement, situated perspectives, and collective imagination. Each encounter lasts 2 hours and includes time for grounding, movement composition, reflection, and shared conversation. **Dates** 17, 21, 23, 24, 30 & 31 May 5 June **Location (Berlin):** shared via DM or email. No formal dance experience is required. This is a self-funded, non-commercial offering, part of a dance MA research. A small sum may be available to support your participation if financial constraint is an issue. *Se(w)cular Stitches Berlin* Join us in Berlin for a special edition of Kantha Connections Stitching Circle. Together, we will reflect on the interconnections between resistance movements across the world. Through the art of Kantha embroidery, we invite you to transform old fabrics into powerful symbols of shared resistance and solidarity... connecting our pasts as we imagine a shared future. Date: Tuesday 21st October 2025 Time: 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm Location: re.Source Berlin (@resource.berlin ) Materials: Please bring your chosen stitching materials and any old/new fabrics that you would like to stitch together.
