National Police Week is a time to recognize the incredible men and women who serve and protect our communities every day. Thank you to our law enforcement officers for your courage and sacrifice. We are extremely grateful for all you do.
I am so incredibly proud of the outstanding young men and women from FL-15 who have earned appointments to our nation's Service Academies. America's future is bright because of young leaders like them. This achievement reflects years of hard work and dedication, and I know they will serve our country with honor.
In honor of National Police Week, we recognize the courage and sacrifice of the men and women in law enforcement who serve and protect our communities everyday. Thank you for your selfless commitment and vital role you play in keeping our families and neighborhoods safe.
The Farm, Food, and National Security Act, also known as the Farm Bill, supports our farmers, strengthens food security, bolsters rural economies, and delivers for Florida agriculture. I am proud to support this year's Farm Bill, as it backs our producers and growers, and I look forward to continuing to work to advance the policies that will help keep Florida agriculture strong.
Another great year of the Congressional Art Competition in FL-15. Congratulations to our winner for her piece titled "Halfway Home." Her artwork will now be displayed in our nation's Capitol building this year!
Joined the @eveningeditfbn to discuss the urgent need for a dedicated White House Ballroom in light of the assassination attempt of @potus at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Our courts should never have blocked this.
Political violence must end. What happened at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner is a stark reminder that we must come together as a country, reject hatred and division, and reaffirm that violence has no place in America.
I had a great meeting with the Hillsborough County School Board to discuss important legislative priorities for our schools and other issues impacting students, families, and educators across FL-15. I am especially grateful to have received a beautiful piece of artwork from one of our students in the district to display in my office.
It was great to meet with @rainn for their Congressional Day of Action to discuss the Defiance Act. There is an urgent need to better protect victims from online exploitation and abuse. Hearing these very personal stories made clear that Congress must keep fighting to support survivors, hold predators accountable, and make sure technology is never used as a weapon against innocent Americans.
Anyone holding public office needs to be held accountable to the people who sent them here. Today, I joined @eveningeditfbn to discuss the serious allegations involving Eric Swalwell. These claims must be fully investigated as criminal matters so that justice is served to the victims.
Yesterday was a very meaningful day, as the HEAR Act of 2025 was signed into law by @potus . This is a hopeful step forward for the families affected by the tragedies of the Holocaust, and I am thankful for the bipartisan effort put forward to make this happen.
