Power of Audacity! I recorded and documented a conversation between @officialjamelia and @renee.cd at @treasuretress Curly Christmas. It's incredible working alongside women who continuously push boundaries, shake foundations, and put systems in place to better the lives of the sisters who may walk after them in the same or similar directions. #princepictures141 #lumixs5iix #uklegends #documentary #stroytelling

Ok! Magazine you know! I see you God! 😩🙏🏿 Huge gratitude to @ok_mag x @afro_leads for celebrating me as an inspirational and influential speaker making waves in my industry ✨ This is special because for monthsss now, God’s been doing A LOT with me behind the scenes. I’m navigating a huge transition and aligning myself to what is really required of me/@outtheboxuk . This means lots of change on the horizon, but I’m welcoming it with open arms. Expect lots more speaking and sharing the new wisdom that’s been marinating, more equipping of communities to break barriers and spaces for US. I have so much more to say but for now I’m just gona leave this here in celebration 🥂💃🏾

Another one 🎂🥂 Feeling deeply grateful. Every affirmation, prayer, and hail ups I’ve received them all in faith and look forward to them coming to fruition. Forever learning, growing and nesting into my womanhood. Thank you, Lord 🤍

Panel vibes on Saturday at the @creativebusinessexpo expo ✨ “From Idea to Audience: Building Successful Live Events” alongside @realdealcomedyjam @jae_indi Hosted by @sacharjones I never set out to “do events.” Back then it was just obedience to God, and excitement (with a bag of nerves mixed in) to create something I felt was needed: How do I get creatives, doers and builders in one space to learn from each other? Events and experiences just became one of the many ways we did that @outtheboxuk Over the past 11 years, a few things have stayed true: * Start before you feel ready. When I first stated doing events, there was no blueprint, I just went for it and learned on the go. * Be clear on your why. Who are you building for? Who misses out if you don’t create the space? * Your speakers and panelists matter! Are they honest, relatable, in touch? * The small details matter more than people think. That’s what makes people feel comfortable, at home. Also this ain’t glamorous stuff. It’s not for the weak chile. There have been years I’ve said I’m done with events 😭 (my inner circle knowwwss) But the purpose and community have got to be your anchors. How your events and experiences look and feel will always evolve - and that’s ok! Big up @ebony_rebecca_x and @unique__monique for having me. This intersection for creative business owners is exactly what we need in the city right now!

Back in my facilitation bag ✨🎤 Last Wednesday I spent the afternoon facilitating two panels at the @iwdexpo and they were full of insight and necessary challenge. 💎From the Ally to Action panel: • How do we advocate for each other and build out own spaces when the systems weren’t built with us in mind? •How do we hold decision makers accountable when they’re not even in the room? • And now that the EDI landscape has shifted, how do organisations who still want to do the work effectively communicate that? 💎From the Intersectionality in the Workplace panel: • Representation happens at certain levels but what about on the main stages, the big platforms, the visible seats? It thins out. What happens after we’ve all been in agreeance in the same room but have to go back to our respective roles? How are we pushing for change then? These are the conversations we need to keep having. Big up to the panelists for the wisdom and candour, and to the IWD Conference & Expo team for a brilliant day 🙏🏿 If you need someone to design, shape and hold your next panel, session or workshop, DM me. Let’s make it happen ✨

Our 2025 “UnBoxed” 📦 If you know us, you know we value our community over “trends”. In 2025 we listened closely to our community — and what came up wasn’t just burnout or career confusion or aspiration. Survival mode. So our work shifted to meet that. We introduced Healing Workplace Trauma. We created spaces for honesty, reflection, and grounding. We let the community lead the direction. Against a changing world of work and business, this year reminded us that depth matters more than noise, and care matters more than speed. We had the opportunity to also collaborate and be a part of an amazing one of a kind event - Disruptive Motherhood, alongside @violetsimonofficial and @mumsandtea challenging the norms of motherhood and womanhood one conversation at a time. Our founder Renée got to be a part of some really great conversations and we were featured and recognised across different publications and brands. We’re full of gratitude ✨ If you want to work with us — to speak, facilitate, host a workshop, or want us to help you build something intentional around culture, wellbeing, and equity — holla. This is paced, values-led work. And it’s only just beginning ☄️

Great time last week at @camparigroupuk House sitting on the Community Trailblazer’s panel at @foundervine x @wrayandnephewuk Wray Forward Mixer✨ Congratulations again to all the PowerBook celebrants. I didn’t get to meet everyone, but got to chat and snap it up with @mstracydurrant of @everyonesasinger and @d.nics of La Noir Property Group and had a great time speaking with @jameskaguima learning all about Skate Cabal (I need to get on those 🛼 fr! 🤣) Judging the list was brilliantly hard because everyone entered had amazing concepts and prove how much Black businesses are really doing the damn thing - which we all know. But the disparity in funding and opportunity inspite of this frustrates me. But still we rise - the celebrants exemplified impact, innovation and longevity. Big up Foundervine for being a pillar. More of this in 2026 🥂

The incredible @officialjamelia and I sat down to talk about the Power of Audacity at @treasuretress Curly Christmas ♥️ So many of us grew up to her music and were blessed to see her representing us — young Black girls — on our screens. And to top it off… she’s from Brum too ♥️ Honestly, it didn’t even feel like an interview. It felt like catching up with an old friend. Thank you, Jamelia, for being so open, so raw, and for unapologetically walking in your light. You spoke about clarity of purpose and knowing that your work is to help and empower people — particularly Black women — and that mission was well and truly accomplished. Saturday was a beautiful moment for me. Fifteen years on, and no matter what other projects or callings I pursue Journalism and deep, rich storytelling is still my first love, and the reason I do so much of what I do today, — creating space for people to share their truths, step into their light, and commune. Thank you @jameliaisobsessed and the @treasuretress family for recognising that and trusting me with this moment 🫶🏿 More content coming soon 👀 📸: @jkgphotography

Choosing yourself is rarely comfortable — especially when the world is familiar with a previous version of you. At Curly Christmas, we’re honoured to host an intimate fireside conversation with @officialjamelia , exploring what it truly means to bet on yourself, take up space, and stand firmly in your own power even when the path ahead feels uncertain. With a career spanning over 25 years, Jamelia is one of the UK’s most recognisable and respected Black women in entertainment. From global music success to TV, acting, commentary and motherhood, her journey has been shaped by evolution, courage, and an unwavering commitment to redefining herself on her own terms. In this honest and reflective discussion, we’ll unpack the audacity required to raise your standards, embrace necessary failures, reinvent yourself, and trust your voice — even when growth demands you step away from who you once were. This is a conversation for every woman navigating quiet transitions, loud reinventions, and the tender courage of choosing herself. Guiding this powerful exchange is our moderator, @renee.cd — an award-winning journalist of 15 years, community builder, and founder of @outtheboxuk Renée has written and edited national features, interviewed high-profile cultural figures, and reported on social and political issues with depth and integrity. Her gift for thoughtful, grounded storytelling makes her the perfect host for this transformative conversation. This is a celebration of audacity. The boldness to choose yourself. The courage to evolve. And the power of stepping fully into who you are becoming. ✨ 📅 When Saturday 6th December 1:30PM – 2:30PM 📍 Where 471–473 The Arches Dereham Place, Shoreditch London EC2A 3HJ 🎟 Tickets Saturday 6th December, 11:00AM–2:30PM All tickets include access to our inspiring panel talks. Last night’s @inspireawards_uk 💕 From the house band and singers (@phebeedwards your vocals are a madness 😩) shutting it all the way down, to one of ny journo inspirations - Moira Stuart accepting an honorary award (among so many others) it was a special night. Giving people their flowers while they can still smell them is imperative, and @tru_powell and the team did an excellent job of spotlighting some of the UK’s most inspirational people/organisations 👏🏿 well done on a great night! Loved bumping into some my faves, and also meeting new faces and having some very poignant convos 💭 Love to the Lloyds team as always for having me, @khaliaismain I’m so proud of you 🤩 Separately - if your ppl dem ain’t shutting toilet doors for you so you can get the content, are they really your people? 🤣🤣🤣 cc: @jameliaisobsessed
