1. I stopped trying to "get over it" and started letting God in. Healing isn't moving on — it's letting God meet you in the part of you that broke. I tried to rush it. I tried to numb it. Nothing worked until I stopped running from Him.
2. I got honest about what I ignored. The heartbreak didn't start when it ended. It started the day I saw the red flag and stayed anyway. Healing began when I stopped blaming them and asked God why I accepted it.
3. I stopped looking for closure from them. Closure is not a conversation you have with someone who hurt you. It's a decision you make in your spirit.
4. I locked into my identity in Christ. A broken heart will lie to you about who you are. The Word told me the opposite — and I had to choose which voice I believed.
5. I stopped isolating and rebuilt my circle. I had to let women back in. Women who prayed for me. Women who saw me clearly when I couldn't.
6. I sat in silence with God. Not music. Not podcasts. Not distraction. Just me, my journal, and the Holy Spirit.
7. I stopped performing strength. "I'm fine" delayed my healing. Real healing starts when you admit how badly it hurt.
8. I forgave — for me, not for them. I forgave because I wanted to be free.
9. I poured into what they couldn't take from me. My faith. My purpose. My business. My becoming.
10. I let God rewrite my story.
The most powerful thing I did was stop seeing the heartbreak as the end — and start seeing it as the redirect. God used the breaking to build the woman I am now. He'll do the same for you.
The soul cannot be healed in a hospital. But it can be healed at the feet of the One who made it.
