Have you ever created something that you really liked but you were scared to share it because you thought that people wouldn’t like it?
Same.
There’s these songs I’ve written over the past couple of years that didn’t have a home…
But..
My fear, anxiety and “comparison lies” kept me from doing anything about it.
Then I had the realization that…this art was going to collect dust on a shelf if I didn’t work up the courage to share it.
The Forgettables was quietly born from a place of thinking these songs weren’t really ‘good enough’ to ‘compete’ in the music world right now…
Which is a lie.
Honest art deserves to be shared and seen - hiding it defeats its entire purpose.
