Short videos drive MUCH higher fan engagement for @MLS teams on Instagram. During the 2025 season: Average engagement for videos under 120 seconds was 26.5K. But average engagement for videos over 120 seconds was 3K. What a difference. What this means for you: Longer videos don’t always offer more value. Teams and brands should focus on quality short form content, and brands should communicate this when working with teams on their partnership activations.
