Small group. Big conversations. Real alignment.
High school isn’t “failing”... it’s just no longer designed for the kids we have today.
We’re seeing it everywhere right now...
Policies tightening around attendance.
Pressure increasing on teens to “show up”
But very little conversation about why they’re disengaging in the first place.
Bullying.
Anxiety.
Social Pressures.
Lack of relevance.
Neurodiversity and learning differences.
Learning that feels disconnected from real life.
So families are asking a very real question:
👉 Is there another way to do high school... without sacrificing their future?
Join us for an open Zoom conversation where we unpack the “grey space” of high school - the space between traditional systems and alternative pathways.
We’ll explore options like:
✨ Online high school + in-person teen hubs
✨ Homeschool collectives + part-time models
✨ Project-based learning with real entrepreneurs
✨ How teens can still work toward a diploma… while building real-world skills
This isn’t about pulling kids out and hoping for the best.
It’s about:
✔️ Keeping pathways open
✔️ Creating safer, more aligned environments
✔️ Designing education that actually works for your child
Whether you’re a parent navigating tough decisions;
Or an educator ready to be part of the solution!
This conversation matters.

Let’s talk about what high school could look like.
⚽Community in motion.
Soccer Fest is more than just a game — it’s what happens when education, movement, and community come together.
This collaboration between @refoundeducation , @kindred.spirits.school , and @tifosi_football_academy is bringing together an incredible mix of learners and leaders, including:
🌿 @kindred.spirits.school
🌱 @tinyoaksforestschool
🌾 @the.three.sisters.village
📚 @agoraprep
🍃 @evergreenleadershipacademy
🏡 + our growing homeschool community
Different models. Different approaches. One shared intention — creating meaningful, connected experiences for kids.
This is what it looks like when we step out of silos and into something bigger. When educators collaborate, kids win.
Grateful to everyone showing up, contributing, and building this with us 🙌
Let’s play. Let’s connect. Let’s reimagine what’s possible.

Children are naturally curious. The truth is that a traditional school doesn’t provide the time and space in a day for children to explore their questions and test theories.
Our typical day provides ample time for children to become fully invested in their wonderings. Where they can make predictions, test theories, and revise their plans based on how the learning unfolds.
As teachers we guide them. We ask follow up questions, provide materials to support their wonderings, and give opportunities for them to extend their thinking. All of the curriculum areas are naturally woven into the inquiry process, so you know that they will always be challenged to their full potential.
We want children to develop the skills they need to thrive in today’s world. Connecting to the natural environment is an important part of the learning process as well.
Inquire today about our September 2026 enrolment options - space is extremely limited!

WEEK FIVE I SPRING SESSION I TUESDAY CREW
Weekly Theme: Habitat Hub | Connecting with our Local Ecosystems
We started our morning at circle gathering with a big mission: becoming wildlife biologists! 🕵️♂️ We explored what it means to study the natural habitats of various animal species.
To bring our learning to life, we played the Habitat Destruction Game. 🦊🐦 Our wildlings formed teams, each representing a different animal, and had to quickly race to their correct habitat—whether on land or in the water.
The twist? 🏗️ Forestry workers and builders kept coming in to clear land for homes, shrinking our habitats! This tricky challenge helped us understand how hard it is for animals to find a dwelling when their homes disappear.
Our budding biologists kept exploring through: • Habitat Matching: Connecting animals to their specific homes. • Curious Discussions: Exploring why certain animals survive in some habitats but not others.
Wild adventures weren’t just about lessons—they were about play! ✨ Our wildlings danced with ribbons in the wind, measured the breeze with pinwheels, played natural iSpy games, and ran freely in our beautiful surroundings.
📚 To end the day, we read “It’s Mine”—a wonderful fable about three bickering frogs living unhappily in their pond’s ecosystem. When a natural disaster strikes, they are forced to use teamwork to survive. Just like those frogs, we love seeing our Child of the Wild community come together to support each other!

🏰✨ A day exploring Casa Loma ✨🏰
Our students had an amazing time visiting one of Toronto’s most fascinating landmarks — Casa Loma! From secret passageways to towering rooms and hidden tunnels, the kids were fully immersed in history, architecture, and storytelling.
Did you know? 👀
Casa Loma was built over 100 years ago and was once the largest private residence in Canada. It has nearly 100 rooms, secret staircases, and even underground tunnels!
Walking through the castle sparked so many questions, conversations, and imaginations. Learning history in real life just hits differently ✨
