Recording a DJ set is always fun and sorting out the music takes always longer than the recording itself 😅
Digging for the right tracks is almost an art.
I began as a vinyl DJ a long time ago and ofcourse I also play digital nowadays, it gives you more tracks to choose from. If I had all my digital tracks on vinyl, I would need a big warehouse to store them all 😁

Last week @thelab.44 posted my vinyl-only DJ set.
The name ‘lab’ and the concept inspired me to incorporate a lot of variety into it. There is deep techno, detroit, breaks and more 'edgy' techno.

Back in the nineties I bought a whitelabel with a Public Enemy acapella on it. A very nice tool for DJ-ing with a stripped down electro or techno track. I'm not sure where I grabbed the vinyl. Most likely from Forbidden Planet or part of a crate with secondhand vinyls I found by a newspaper ad.
