Last weekend I payed a visit to the excellent @unit_shop in Breda on behalf of the @rawmaterialtechno crew. Played a vinyl set with lot of forthcoming stuff from the @clonedistribution aswell some all time favorites! 💪 thanks @reflectdj Set will be online soon.

Zaterdag doen we een vinyl session bij @unit_shop Breda met special guest @lenson_rotterdamelectronix ! Deze man heeft een berg vette techno en electro uitgebracht op labels als Paling Trax, @planetrhythmrecords , @tar_hallow , @pleistocenefuturerecords en zijn eigen label @rotterdamelectronix . We zijn super benieuwd naar zijn DJ set! @reflectdj en @bodhi.dj maken de line-up compleet. We beginnen iets eerder dan 14.30 en gaan minimaal door tot 17.30. On Saturday the 9th May, Raw Material takes over the decks at @unit_shop for three hours of turntablism by @reflectdj , @bodhi.dj and special guest @lenson_rotterdamelectronix ! Lenson has released plenty of tracks on established labels such as TH Tar Hallow, Planet Rhythm, Paling Trax and Pleistocene Future. Dark and smoky dancefloors like those at Perron and Tresor are where he spreads his music. We are proud to have him joining us for this vinyl session. #techno #djset #lenson #vinylonly

We are very proud to present Raw Material Podcast no. 250 by @reflectdj & @marticoshell ! The podcast started in 2016 as 'Scherpe Randjes', founded by Marticos Hell. An impressive row of wellknown, talented and promising artists came accross since then. A few years ago Reflect took it over, gave it the name 'Raw Material', and changed the concept a bit. Focused on techno related music only. Raw techno material, pure, groovy, sometimes oldschool based or experimental. Open minded dancefloor music. For this milestone we dropped a 3 hour B2B DJ-set. Check out Raw Material Podcast episode 249 by Walt! I met Walt at Unit Festival last year where he did a very nice liveset in the techno-area. Walt is a dedicated hardware producer from Breda . We are proud to have this talented guy on the page. He prepared a DJ set which shows his vision on techno. He described his sound as follows: The sound I aim for lies in an abstract place. I like pushing the tension with atmosphere to create a sonic scape that i can lose my self in. When i'm on the dancefloor I look for music that plays with this immersive feeling whilst also giving a sense of familiarity trough familiar elements I aim to bind this all into one soundscape. To create a cohesive story that unfolds naturally. Tracks with textured bass like elements are some of my favourite to play and produce. Most of the time my focus lies on live electronic music. So the slow progressing and evolving rhythms that modulate and pulse is where my preference lies in the records that I play as well. #techno #djset #djmix #hardgroove #technoset
