Australian Sea Lion
playing with these beauties off the South Australia coast was an absolute blast.
because these sea lions are ‘flipper-footed’ they are in a group of animals called ‘pinnipeds’ (along with the walrus and seals)!

TURTLE HATCHLING 🐢
A tiny Green Sea Turtle on its way out to the big blue. Following the major oceanic currents, she will drift around the Pacific Ocean for years until she finds a place to call home.

A Great Hammerhead I was lucky enough to swim with as she cruised along the reef at @ladyelliotislandecoresort

STORY TIME
Swimming along the reef, I noticed a White Tip Reef Shark circling a Malabar Grouper.
Normally when this happens the pair will be hunting together. But today the Grouper wasn’t moving much at all.
As I swam closer I saw that INSIDE the groupers mouth
was a parrotfish, whose beak you can see when the grouper turns to face me.
This little white-tip was hoping to be close enough so that he could snatch up the prize if the grouper let his meal go.
