'Queer Texture proposes weaving as queeringânon-linear, relational, and flexible possibilities that resist the singular. It is an invitation to feel how texture is formed through accumulation and contact, and how queerness is not represented, but materially enacted.'

'Queer Texture unfolds as a woven idea. The exhibition brings together practices that move between textiles, sculpture, installation and performance, inviting âtextureâ to be understood not as surface quality, but as relationâbetween bodies, materials, and histories.'

Kim Asendorf - PXL DUO POD @kimasendorf@artbasel Hong Kong 2026
@nguyenwahedart
'PXL Duo Pod emerges from Asendorf's expanding pixel ecosystem, which began with PXL DEX's decentralised exchange for pixel-based NFTs and anticipates PXL NET's crowd-sourced collective sculpture. The new series advances the artist's investigation into radial formations that replace cubic geometries, exploring how individual pixels aggregate into complex spherical phenomena. Through the large-scale display, usually invisible pixels become monumental sculptural elements, transforming technical specifications into aesthetic encounters that reveal screens' fundamental material properties.
Each PXL Duo Pod functions simultaneously as individual artwork and node within a larger network of relationships.'

Robert Alice - SEAL @robertalice.studio@artbasel Hong Kong 2026
@onkaos_@solo_contemporary
'A thousand years before blockchains, Sinosphere collectors inscribed their seals of provenance directly onto the front of artworks. Unlike Western traditions, where only the artist signs their work, these seals transformed artworks into living records of ownership. Unique to the East, ledger and artwork are bound together in shared materiality, a tradition that foreshadows blockchains by millennia.'

Sougwen Chung at Art Basel Hong Kong 2026
@sougwen@studioscilicet@fellowship.xyz@artxcode.io
'At the centre of the presentation is RECURSION 0 (2026), a monumental scroll. A kinetic robotic system, trained on decades of Chungâs gestural data and responsive biosensor input, extends and echoes the artistâs movements across linen , a surface of accumulation, recording the recursive exchange between embodied intention and machinic response in real time.'

@sougwen In the studio
@fellowship.xyz@artxcode.io@opensea
'the works extend Chungâs ongoing investigation into what the artist terms Operational Art: a framework for protocols, ethics, and conditions of co-creation between human, machine, and environment. Here, collaboration evolves beyond method, toward an ecology in which agency is distributed and coexistence becomes indistinguishable from authorship.'

Claudia Fontes - âChoirâ and âHIPâ
Glasshouse Stories by @brookfieldproperties
100 Bishopsgate, London
March 16, 2026 - January 15, 2027
'At the centre of the display are sculptural works developed from 3D scans of plant root systems. These intricate underground structures were digitally captured and translated into sculptural pictograms, revealing the entangled networks that support plant life but are rarely seen. The sculptures are made using plant-based resin, a natural substance that plants produce to protect and heal themselves.'

Sougwen Chung - RECURSIONS éčż´ @sougwen@artbasel Hong Kong 26
@fellowship.xyz@artxcode.io@opensea
'Fellowship and ARTXCODE present RECURSIONS éčż´, a solo exhibition of new works by Sougwen Chung at Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 â the artistâs first solo booth at the fair. Marking a pivotal expansion from live performance into painting, RECURSIONS brings together drawing, painting, robotics, and light-based installation to ask where gesture begins when it is no longer authored by a single hand, but emerges through feedback between human and machine.'
