Today I had such an amazing conversation with Cleo, the founder of @Redyoos , about the work she’s doing to give old jewelry a second life—turning it into materials for things like elementary school art programs and clean tech applications. It’s such a simple but powerful shift. Jewelry accounts for a major share of global gold demand, and mining it is linked to significant emissions and resource use. If you have jewelry you no longer wear, you can learn more or send it in at redyoos.com. We need more innovative, circular solutions like this! I also shared some tips for eating more plant-based foods towards the end of the Live♥️ For easy to make + delicious recipes, be sure to check out @supportandfeed

Trying out recycling ♻️ some jewelry pieces that no longer work for me. @redyoos upcycles the precious metals in old jewelry, partners with women-centered charities to reuse pieces, and recycles broken costume jewelry into art materials. Win win win! 💚 If you can’t rehome your unwanted jewelry, consider recycling with @redyoos ♻️ 2025 Earthshot Prize nominee. Would you give this a try? #sustainable #reducereuserecycle #earthconscious #urbanmining #redyoos

We're running out of much-need precious metals, yet the jewelry industry uses almost half of the global supply. Redyoos is making sure those metals don't go to waste by recycling them into clean energy. 💍♻️ Watch the full chat on @maggiebaird 's Instagram!

more free recycling inspiration lol moving last week forced me to figure out how to get rid of all this stuff sustainably ♻️ for jewelry, i found a company called @redyoos (not sponsored) they sort unwanted jewelry, melt down the metals from precious metal pieces and use it for the construction of clean energy sources like solar panels ☀️ fashion jewelry is redirected to their partners at Dress for Success, and broken jewelry is used for art projects 🎨 how do you recycle jewelry and would you try this out? #upcycle #recyclejewelry lowwasyeliving

if you look for it, there are so many small ways to make an impact—recycling your old jewellery with @redyoos is one of them! they take unwanted jewellery and recycle the precious metals so they can be reused for things like solar panels and EVs (awesome right??) if you’ve been meaning to clear out old pieces, this might be a good place to start #circulareconomy #declutter #intentionalliving
