City to Summit: Modern Day Trail Running Featuring the norda® Fall/Winter 2025 Collection RLRC111825 Red Light Run Club and Dan’s presented CITY TO SUMMIT, an invite-only brand presentation, community run and dinner featuring norda® Fall/Winter 2025. This intimate experience marks the introduction of Montreal’s renowned trail running brand, norda®, to the Philippines — through its official local distributor, Dan’s. To elevate this one-day showroom, we’ve invited community collaborators who share norda®’s ethos of running empowerment through constant innovation, cutting-edge technology, sustainability, and a deep love for the outdoors. First, newly minted Michelin-select restaurant @nownow.ph interpreted norda®’s footwear styles through a custom food and beverage menu inspired by each silhouette. Second, @ultrasoftsound , an ambient imprint and party series, provided the soundtrack to the evening with cutting-edge music that reflect the brand’s forward-thinking POV. And lastly, we brought the feeling of the summit into the city with a special floral installation by @paraluman.world . Of course, it wouldn’t be a Red Light Run Club event without a social run — so we’re invited all participants to take their norda®’s for a spin through Metro Manila’s pavement on our signature urban route. This is only the first phase of our partnership with our good friends at @dans_ph and we look forward to what’s to come from this crossover. The speedy construction features 4mm Dyneema® laces integrated into the 005 Fit-Lock System. This forward-thinking setup pairs an intentional padded heel collar, a perforated microsuede tongue, and an interior binding—resulting in a secure, dialed-in fit for even the most technical terrains. Underfoot, the 005 uses a full Arnitel® TPEE midsole, similar to the 001A, ensuring peak durability for both training days and race efforts. Each pair also includes two insoles: a molded Arnitel® option for daily mileage and a lighter die-cut version for when you want to shave weight for your next comp. With the CMU (Cordillera Mountain Ultra) on the horizon, we figured it was the perfect opportunity to bring along Renzo and Cyrille for a short circuit on our not-so-secret backyard route. Running across a wide mix of Philippine surfaces—mud, gravel, and concrete—our two runners moved smoothly through every context. As expected, both footwear models handled local terrain with ease, giving us full confidence to choose either pair depending on running style and preference. With our upcoming off-road races this season, we’re happy to report that we wouldn’t think twice about taking norda® to the function. As a collective of running enthusiasts and gear nerds, we’ve always looked forward to the Canadian brand’s forward-thinking ethos and technical innovation with each new cycle. One of the products we were most excited to test was the 001A—the successor to the long-standing debut model, the 001. Beyond the iconic seamless Dyneema® upper and Vibram® sole plate that helped cement the brand’s cult status, the addition of a new Arnitel® TPEE midsole promises higher resiliency compared to other superfoams on the market. It comes as no surprise, then, that the ride didn’t feel drastically different from its near-perfect predecessor—and we guess that’s the point.
