In conversation with, Mama.
Here we are, in the midst of my greatest career moment to date. The shape of all my creative paths aligning, briefly like an eclipse. To be in harmony with my family. With my Mother.
The Collective Joy of Listening in Aethos held space for Gigi, for @saintandbirchley and for everyone present to connect. Grateful to you all, I look forward to sharing more from the day and beyond đź–¤

Fabulous guests at ALEPH ✨
The question we proposed to the participating artists:
As an artist how does your work engage with the infinite (the universal, the eternal) and the immediate (the political, the personal, the present)?

Young hands with beautiful minds in the process of learning and making.
The ability to create is innate within each person, the expression is all that differs.
Thank you @divinesouthgatesmith for taking the time to pour with love as always đź’«
Saint & Birchley x @redeyescreening invites you to “The Collective Joy of Listening” - together, the way the musicians intended. Courtesy of @aethoslondon
This session explores the music of Zimbabwe between 1975 and 1980. The journey and conversation traces sound, history, and context across a pivotal moment in time.
Guided by @nigelruwende designer of Saint & Birchley, the afternoon draws from treasured records and the stories behind them - personal, political, and cultural memories that have helped shape the brand’s AW26 collection, releasing in Tokyo later this year.

We were delighted to welcome a fantastic group of 10–11 year olds to our exhibition!
A huge thank you to @st_jamesschool for visiting, and to @hsbc incredible art duo who always go above and beyond to create meaningful experiences.
Emmanuel guided the students through the exhibition, encouraging them to share their thoughts and feelings about the artworks — their insights were inspiring! They then enjoyed a special behind-the-scenes tour of HSBC’s Art Collection with the Global Art Manager, Dan Lancaster.
The day wrapped up with a hands-on workshop led by @divinesouthgatesmith , where they learned about beads and created their very own to take home.
Thank you to everyone involved in this wholesome day full of creativity and curiosity ✨

In Yoruba, Ẹ̀mà primarily means “breath,” “spirit,” “soul,” or “life force” that animates the body. It is considered the divine essence of consciousness.
