A SUP-tacular Challenge!
Red Equipment Ambassador
@natashastarseeker is taking on the UK’s first Coast-to-Coast Canoe Trail! This stretches from Liverpool in the west to Goole on the Humber Estuary and follows the 127-mile Leeds & Liverpool Canal and 35 miles along the Aire & Calder Navigation through Yorkshire.
Starting on 15th May, Natasha will cover 162 miles on the endurance paddle which crosses coast-to-coast across England. Over 10 days she will follow Britain’s longest single canal, carrying her SUP (stand-up paddleboard) around 101 locks too.
Natasha will be paddling with two friends, Claire and Joseph, and will be joined along the way by some other paddlers for parts of the journey. One of those is fellow Red ambassador
@jomoseley - who was the first woman to ever paddle the trail at the age of 54!
The mum-of-three will paddle approx. 15-20 miles a day on her
@redequipment Sport+ 14’ SUP as she embarks on her epic voyage to raise funds for the
@canalrivertrust . It is so important to ensure that everyone has a space where they can relax and escape to, such as canals and rivers. Along the way Natasha will be litter picking and raising awareness of issues, such as plastic pollution, invasive animal and plant species, and protecting native water-based wildlife.
The beauty of this challenge is that the route is very well documented, with detailed information to help you plan. But, as Jo Moseley has previously said, as far as we are aware only 12 people have crossed it in full in one trip. More have climbed Everest or swum the Channel!
Natasha is being supported with kit from
@redequipment and, over the summer of 2026, several Red Ambassadors will also be taking on an endurance challenge. They love to encourage adventures through paddling and to help others find their happy place by the water. They will be raising funds for
@canalrivertrust and
@surfersagainstsewage 💙 Follow their adventures!
