Skills aside, you should really like your photographer as a person - they’re going to be with you on a really special day of your life! I want to create a sense of belonging and safety. I always look after people in my care – which includes couples I’m photographing! 🤍UNIVERSALISM I am motivated by people’s welfare, the environment and an equitable world. I am driven by the greater good. This is why I am always promoting sustainable weddings and planting trees for every couple I photograph! 🤍HEDONISM I am motivated by seeking pleasure and enjoyment – both for myself and others. This was such a lovely day with a wonderful wedding crew, and an awesome team of Perth wedding vendors. Getting married at the North Perth Town Hall kept everything in the one neighbourhood. The couple both getting ready in separate Airbnbs, Sarah and her bridesmaids were so close they were able to walk to the hall! We then began the formalities with a ceremony in the Lesser Hall, followed by drinks and a grazing table in the small gated park next door, and then into the big North Perth Town Hall for dinner, drinks (lots of drinks) and dancing. The photos are barely a glimpse at the fun they had, and hats off to the whole team for such a beautiful day! I felt so honoured to be part of such an intimate and considered wedding for K&M. They invited their besties and immediate family to their wedding ceremony under the trees and amongst the vines at Rustico at Hayshed Hill, then walked up to the restaurant for drinks, some portraits and then an amazing long table dinner AND an epic dancefloor. Sometimes everything aligns and even the simplest of plans becomes absolute magic. W & K just wanted a simple elopement, so I suggested they find an Airbnb on a property somewhere and we have the ceremony there. I couldn’t have imagined this little Tiny Home in Bindoon @wagtailswatch would turn out to be so amazing! After a quick ceremony with @thewheatbeltcelebrant - witnessed by their parents and best friends - we were blessed with a beautiful sunset, got to pet the horses, and then I left W & K to relax at the Airbnb for the night! Fun, friends, family and Fringe Festival were the top priorities for this epic wedding day. After getting their wedding portraits at the Fringe Festival Pleasure Garden, we walked over to Vin and Flower for a super sweet wedding ceremony which ended with a surprise musical rendition of Can’t Take My Eyes of You by the bride’s brother (a performer for Impromptunes) and wife!! I loved how the bride hand crocheted the bunting at the altar alongside plant hire from The Botanic Edit. It was a super kid friendly event with many nieces and nephews running around having the time of their lives, pizza from the always superb Pizza Lab, and a big dessert table from Sherbert Bake Shop. And the musical theatre didn’t stop there – with a Hamilton Musical inspired speech by the bride’s whole family and then a beautiful acoustic performance by the bride and groom themselves! After that it was party time on the dance floor. What more could you ask for! After keeping their elopement super small and chill (legals + gelato with the family) these guys threw a kid friendly New Years Eve AND wedding celebration party in their backyard, with all the confetti! Plus a bonus special appearance from Black Panther lol 😂

The Perryman’s love fest in Freo was so palpable, it felt like a warm hug all day! It has also become the perfect example of a sweet little content package I’ve been wanting to offer for the longest time: a nostalgic, 60s home video feel, but keeping to my documentary, chill vibes approach to capturing your day.
