🎭🃏Over the past few weeks, we worked as a team on a 2D animated film concept pitch called 'The Act' We’re excited to share our teaser trailer: a glimpse into a story about a once succesful local theatre called 'Regitare' fighting to stay relevant in a world that is changing during the industrial revolution. His brother, the Director, stands in total opposition: perfection above all and bigger is better. In his park, humans are replaced by automatons, Clockwork like machines that mimic humans. Caught in between is Rosetta, young, creative, and full of ideas that don’t fit the traditional Regitare theatre. You might’ve seen the final cover earlier, but this time I wanted to share a bit about the process behind it and my role as producer on Cosmic Neighbourhood. As producer, I spent most of my time keeping things on track (and occasionally being the bad guy when deadlines crept up 👀). It was a role I grew into quickly and one I’d love to explore more in the future. Besides producing and designing the human characters, I also created the pitch bible cover and back, a task I thought would be simple, but definitely humbled me along the way. The logo was part of that too; I wanted it to feel simple, a little childish, and capture the key symbols of our story, the fish and the stars. 🐟⭐ Huge thanks to @dont_think_just_draw for guiding our team so well through tough creative choices and putting the whole pitch bible together! Meet Theo! 👽✨ From the start, I had a rough idea of how our human characters might look, but as the project grew, the designs became simpler, more expressive, and felt alive. Theo came together so naturally. 2024 • This digital editorial illustration uses the metaphor of an hourglass to represent the urgency of climate change. Each grain of sand reflects the time we have left to act. It’s a visual reminder of the critical need for immediate solutions.

2024 • Political cartoon – illustrating the hypocrisy of people’s reactions to the released footage of mistreatment in a pig slaughterhouse. Despite witnessing the abuse, they continue to enjoy the products that result from it. I was one of the artists whose work was selected to be displayed at the Beeld en Geluid Museum in The Hague. The exhibition was open for a limited time.
