For couples who want their wedding remembered just as it felt; the hand squeezes, the laughter, the tears you didn’t know we caught.
We’re Kat & Cristian, the faces behind Redbook Studios. We work with Super 8, 35mm, Polaroid, Camcorder and digital to capture the kind of moments that grow more meaningful with time.
What matters most to us is that you feel at ease. No performing, no pressure; just candid, relaxed and true to life memories that become keepsakes for decades to come.
Asheda & Travers got married just down the road from their home at @thealtarelectric ; colourful, playful, a little cheeky, and completely original.
They wrote love notes to each guest (all 46 of them), had a butter sculpture inspired by Asheda’s parents’ wedding, ice cream cake instead of a traditional dessert and custom playing cards as a guestbook. Every bit of it was a reflection of who they are and how they love.
So excited to see it featured over on @hellomaymagazine , one of those weddings we’ll never forget.
Mads & Jim ~ From a summer swim that changed everything to a proposal on a quiet Greek island, their love has always felt easy; like it was meant to be. Their day at Mount Duneed was the most heartfelt celebration of that kind of love: full of laughter, close-knit joy, shared pasta plates, and happy tears.
A wedding that felt like home, with every detail true to them and now their day lives on forever featured in @togetherjournal 🥹💌
So honoured to be the ones to capture it.
Our new website is finally here!
Redbook Studios has grown and changed so much over the years. We’ve learned, we’ve refined, we’ve poured ourselves into this craft in ways we never expected. And now, for the first time, our little corner of the internet feels as alive as the memories we capture.
This website feels like us. The warmth, the film grain, the quiet in-between moments. It’s a labour of love, just like every wedding day we’re trusted with.
We’re so proud of it and so grateful to @honeythorndesigns for all the care and hard work that went into making it real.
Go explore. Link is in our stories and bio 🤍
This little vlog captures the very last step in our process: carefully wrapping up your polaroid keepsakes and sending them off with love. A few quiet moments of post-production, narrated by my Cristian's voiceover 🎀
“I handtied all the bows myself,” she said, and in that one sentence, you could feel how much love had been poured into the day.
Our couples spend months dreaming, planning, and DIY-ing the little details and it’s one of our favourite things to photograph. Because it’s never just a bow or a table setting. It’s time, thought, and a whole lot of heart.
