I was invited onto ITN News 🇬🇧 to talk about the #KanyeWest v #Wireless Festival debacle… But my main point about not re-platforming Nazis, no matter how mentally challenged, especially too soon BEFORE it can be judged if their “contrition” is real OR just a fake play to regain lucrative live earnings… That was edited out… #Ye #AntiNazi

As the world sinks deeper into screens and algorithms blur the line between creation and imitation, “We wanted to make something that felt joyous and defiantly human, something that couldn’t exist without that connection between people. You can get an AI to write a fugue in seconds, but it can’t capture the chemistry and chaos that happens when musicians lock in together. ‘Chasing Shadows’ is our way of holding onto that.” I’m honoured to manage @tomexcell ’s wonderful band @nubiyantwist with partners David Manders and Steve Dix at Liquid. Their fabulous new album is a testament to Real musicianship and songwriting. 2 singles already playlist at BBC6 Music and on hundreds of playlists worldwide. The album features appearances from the legendary Patrice Rushen, Ezra Collective’s Joe Armon-Jones, Ghana superstar M.anifest, Malian legend Fatoumata Diawara and geniuses Booty Brown and Mr Williamz Take a listen at the link in bio, where you can also find tickets for their London show at KOKO on 30th April!

Can’t believe I’ve been mentoring @ariasoulmusic for over 2 years now! It’s been an absolute honour to witness her growing into the artistic powerhouse she is today - selling out London shows, booked for major festivals and bursting with innovative ideas for her phenomenal songs! Writing this batch of material with Aria and @chrisrmontague62 has been so much fun. Also with Co-writes from @ian_barter (Amy Winehouse, Paloma Faith) and another brilliant mentee of mine - @sherbetlemon007 🔥 It’s been an inspiring week producing this with Chris who also composed horn parts played by the insanely gifted @trishclowes_music and @poppydaniels__ 🎺🎷🔥 Thanks to:- @harrywgould - bass @dan_hester 🥁 @willhobsonmusic 🎹 @ziandsi 🎤🎤 @geeemurph recording and mix engineer And @david.ashman.14 for excellent suggestions! Very proud of this record to be launched at @pizzaexpresslive Soho on September 21st. 🎶 #upcomingartists🎤 #jazzsoul #singersongwriter #producer #mentoring @shewritessongsorg @allaboutpromouk @dynamiclondon @record.producers

I was privileged to have worked in a small way on this wonderful movie 🎥, helping with the recorded soundtrack which was produced and scored by one of the UK’s most innovative producers, @robellisdrums (of PJ Harvey, Marianne Faithfull’s last 2 beautiful albums… and many more). The soundtrack features Nick Cave & Warren Ellis, Courtney Love, Jehnny Beth, Suki Waterhouse, Rob Ellis, Adrian Utley, Anna Calvi, Ed Harcourt, Anna Phoebe, Jarvis Cocker, Rufus Wainwright, Beth Orton, and Samantha Morton ans Marianne herself 🙏🏻 👼 It’s an INCREDIBLE film…. Opens 20th March across the UK. Go see it …. “At first, she couldn’t come off the oxygen long enough”, the film that gives Marianne Faithfull one final thrilling performance. https://lnkd.in/e5iMfhds
