Excited about these new images I had the chance to create with my girl @awakephotoco .
Playing with lighting and new concepts sometimes can be challenging but also so inspiring. Thatâs one of the main reason I do what I do for leaving, to be able to make art, to get outside of my comfort zone including being on the other side of the camera for a change.
In fact, I have been reflecting on this topic a lot recently, how to make ourselves vulnerable yet still feel authentic within our beliefs.
So I choose to make art and share beauty with others as my way of expressing myself and as to add a little something into the world. Whatâs your outlet for a better you?

Portraits of my favorite water girl as she says goodbye to her California days and move back to her hometown in Portland. We couldnât have asked for a most incredible sunset to end her surfing inspired session. Itâs always so inspiring to make art with other creatives, and being surrounded by people you admire.

I personally love a lit party, a change of outfits, skipping cakes and doing desserts only if thatâs more your style, cause the most important thing is to make it authentic and fun and have the best time.

I canât stop smiling and feeling so grateful about this incredible day. The energy from the guests, the romantic atmosphere created by @taylornicoleevents and her team with these gorgeous florals and setup, this stunning European inspired winery and venue that has so many photo opportunities every corner, and mostly, the authentic love and connection shared between bride and groom.
Days like this one make me so blessed to do what I do for work.

Engagement season is in full swing over here and I am so happy about it. I highly encourage my couples to book a session so we can all have the chance to work together prior to the big day, plus itâs an opportunity to break that fear of the camera and feel comfortable with it.

SSA - BA
A memory that needs to be on the feed cause this trip to Salvador BA with my childhood besties was one of the highlights of my visit to Brasil this past month.
Salvador was the port city where the Portuguese people have first arrived in Brasil, and I canât imagine the surprise on their faces when seeing this place for the first time.
Today, it holds a mix of colorful architecture with a lot of African influence in all traditions, foods, music, dance and religion.
Itâs one of the few places in Brasil where people really eat spicy food besides black pepper lol, with such a rich cuisine, and lucky us, my bestie is such a natural born chef, like casually making fresh octopus vinaigrette with homemade sourdough bread for an afternoon snack, or a shrimp moqueca - although she used coconut milk from a bottle and was sorry for not making it from scratch, which was such a funny story when our other friend mentioned she didnât even know coconut milk didnât come originally from a bottle lol.
Anyways, grateful for long lasting friendships and creating new memories in such a special part of my country.
I hope u all enjoy some of those trip photos, all taken with an Iphone, nothing but raw footage of a good time.
Ps. And if anyone even wants to get married in this cute little church (Loreto church) at Ilha dos Frades, please take me with you.

Creating art with other artists.
This session was a special one. While visiting my hometown Sao Paulo last month, @poppyflowerbr and I got together in her floral studio for her own portrait session. She not only makes beautiful flower arrangements and installations, but also now floral illustrations.
Such a talented artist, it was a pleasure to spend the afternoon with you, learning a little bit more about your style, about what inspires you and for me to be able to show to the world the face behind your brand.
