Rent prices, pubs closing at 11, bensons blue costing 20 quid, expensive public transport, soaring violence against women and girls, how often you get your bins emptied, gentrification, LTNs, Lime bike contracts, rising Islamophobia, gas bills, childcare costs, uni fees, cladding on blocks, youth clubs…
It’s literally all politics. It’s easy to get disheartened when you see how things play out. I even say on this tune. The thing is, the people who benefit from the system not working for us depend on us being disengaged. Go and vote.

We did it. I’m so grateful for every single person who showed up and played some part in one of the best nights of my life fr, I’m still processing it all but I really, really felt the love. Seeing people from all the different parts of my life together, in one place? Seeing parents and professionals out on a Sunday night vibing like they didn’t have a care in the world?? Proper moved me.
You lot bullied me into dropping and then never ever let me feel for a second that I made the wrong choice.

Thank you to @thegraceldn for being an absolute stellar venue to host this event at - your patience, professionalism and passion for the experience didn’t go unnoticed by anyone in attendance, and when you’re an independent artist these things matter. If you’re looking for a spot to perform at I can’t recommend the venue and the team enough 💛
