it’s so intriguing to me how we are always trying to push onto the best, and be better and have more and have the most we can, but i don’t think that having the best is important. having the best car is cool, but having the same car for 20 years means you cherish it and took care of it. maybe im spitting bs, but i’m grateful for what i have and what i don’t have too, it give me something to hope and work for. life is so fleeting, and you’re never going to be happy unless you love yours. i think J. Cole said that.

last night was unbelievable. not only opening for hip hop legends but getting to ask them questions on hip hop and life and being able to get there perspective. i spent a good amount of time after my set talking to Tajai from @soulsofmischief and trying to pick his brain on different things. it was such an honor to say that i opened for them, @livinglegends@reverielove and Cunninlynguists, @deacthevillain and i had a good convo on flow and he was such a fun guy to be around.
im most grateful to have been able to get my student from @rapamericaproject@m80.208 into the venue so he could talk to Tajai and get his hat signed, and i figured might as well do the same. Thank you to @duckclubboise and @thegrouch for putting the show together, and thank you to everyone who was there, i had an incredible time.

BOY WONDER is going to Pocatello!
On June 25th, I will be popping out at the First National Bar to perform and have a good time. Music starts at 8:15, 21+. when i was 18, i quit my job working at Chick Fil A because i knew i wanted to rap. all i thought about everyday was rap and making music. when i quit i had a bunch of people looking at me like i was crazy, telling me that i would never get to the point where i am doing this professionally.
in june, it will have been two years since ive made that decision to quit, and i couldn’t be more proud and excited about where i am now. not only have i done shows that put me closer to my dreams, but i have grown as an artist and kept my integrity with my music. never thought that i would be continuing this chase, but even with everything ive been doing, there is so much more to come out of this.
i really went from performing in the back of @chickfilameridian to the youngest booked @treefortfest rapper and i couldn’t be more proud of the man i look at everyday in the mirror, and the kid who was brave with his dreams.
i wish there was a better way to put it, but when it comes to the growth i’ve experienced, the feelings and the people in my corner pushing me to be better, ITS DIFFERENT

a week ago i had the privilege to perform at @treefortfest which was a dream come true!
i’ve been reflecting on this opportunity and the work i put in last year to get to the point where i could say i was a festival performing artist, and i haven’t felt more joy or pride in my music than getting on that stage and getting to share it with everyone.
it’s an insane thing to say you accomplished a small goal while on your journey, and pushing for to grow and to succeed can cloud your vision. but with every victory coming so fast, celebrating is important, whether it’s taking a few hours out of your normal studio schedule to hangout with friends, or simply just sitting on the couch and watching a show you love.
super grateful to @duckclubboise for the opportunity, and super grateful to the @reefboise for the venue and lighting during the set. and to everyone who could make it, THANK YOU for supporting art, regardless of the size.
