I like to sneak up on people on set and surprise them with my camera. I think it truly captures all the wonderful humans I’m fortunate enough to spend my days with. @janicemin is our B cam op and she is truly an amazing person. Her operating skills are next level, she always has a smile and seems genuinely stoked to make images.
In this shot we’re setting up back to back shots. She’s got her camera on a dolly which is run by her dolly grip “Stitch” Ficklin who’s behind her on the right. My camera is on the @arri SRH-360 stabilized remote head and being pushed around by my incredible dolly grip Tom Conway. We run this head on the dolly to avoid laying dance floor and so we can be more flexible with our moves.
