Sauh (Sand stuffed nylon stockings) from Michelle Jovita | @mic_jovitaaa for group show exhibition “Of Motion and Motives” on view through January 13 2026 Michelle Jovita’s (b. 2001) art originates from her curiosity in observing people and understanding their personalities. People stand as a vital element in her work, as Michelle positions her works as a way for one to interact with another, with the art, and with the space. Ever so compelling, Michelle’s three-dimensional pieces stand as installations, encouraging us to look beyond the surface and delve into each layer of her creations. @mic_jovitaaa #michellejovita #readyspace

lerrab eht fo mottob (Crumpled paper) from R Saarah | @r__saarah for group show exhibition “Of Motion and Motives” on view through January 13 2026 Through her works, R. Saarah (b. 2001) embraces the simplicity of the mundane. Saarah translates her ideas through printmaking techniques, from etching, screenprint, to the meticulous practice of letterpress. Lor (Oil on Canvas, 2025) from Bagas Mahardika | @beranomali for group show exhibition “Of Motion and Motives” on view through January 13 2026 Iconic Catholic figures had become a profound visual inspiration for Bagas Mahardika (b. 2001), who was raised in a traditional Catholic–Javanese household. Be it in cathedrals, at school, or even inside of his house, he was often met with the interactions of these icons and their daily surroundings. His practice in painting led Bagas to explore the meaning of these iconic figures if they were placed inside the cocoon of anonymity. @beranomali #bagasmahardika #readyspace

Last night at READYSPACE. An opening shaped by presence rather than spectacle— friends, conversations, pauses, and shared attention. The works have entered the room, but more importantly, the room has been activated by those who came, stayed, and felt. Thank you for turning an opening into a moment. The exhibition is now open.
