my new collaboration with @imarkmolnar is out now on bandcamp.
Mark's my favorite musician in Ottawa. playing with him is a massive highlight of this project for me. this recording is an improvised piece captured at the first edition of Sustain last year. our only guidelines were 'spend 25 minutes building and five minutes landing'. what happened in between was at points, a total out of body experience for me.
thanks so much to Mark for playing with me, @garythibert for mixing this and Branden at @melomaniadistro for their mastering work. thanks to the people that attended and listened, the entire Targ crew for their patience and support and to anyone who takes a moment to check this out.

High Grove is a Montreal project consisting of Peau (peauboy) and Sara (@self.detest ). A project of care and attention utilizing cuts chords sections and pieces of magnetic tape, woven together and holding you close.
Reaching Needles is Scott (@reachingneedles ). Drone and ambient with a subtle sharpness.
White Passing is an entirely unserious outfit second, and a group is friends first.
KAHRABA is my own solo entity. The resident house act for NO STATIC and a project that I continue to enjoy very very much. Expect unpracticed meandering and an improvised pursuit of textures, sounds, and noises confined by a mixing board.
