I have to say every single day that I take time off of sending it, the stress and anxiety grows, wondering if I can still fly, how it will be, what could go wrong, what itāll go like, if my body will remember what to do, if my subconscious will take over according to how it needs toā¦. The thought spiral, the fear lingers and doubt creeps in and fades away and then eventually for some reason you just press play and the magic takes over.
Iāve never felt more at ease or in sync or confident once I got on my skis and pointed them at the ramp.
I had to hold back just to do this little three-quarter ride over and naturally just wanted to lay into full double cuts like my last jump of the year. When I was a kid, I always said you should start where you left off. Hereās to another year of giving it my best shot to raise the bar beyond whatās ever been done on jump skis.
