While the wedding may have wrapped on set, the real magic came together in the edit bay. @rbpostpro , our incredible editor, stitched together every heartfelt glance, every laugh, and every cinematic frame into a story that truly feels like love. Rachel is an editor and post-production enthusiast specializing in short-form content who began editing as a hobby over 10 years ago.  Also a life-long hobbyist illustrator, she has a passion for storytelling through the creation of visually captivating media. Rachel began attending Valencia in 2021 to get her associate’s degree, and then transferred to UCF where she’s set to graduate from in Fall 2025 with a bachelor’s in Film. In the future, she hopes to work as an editor in a post-production house on a team that she can collaborate with and learn from. shot by @klx.productions #CocaColaRefreshingFilms #ScreeningLoveUCF #film #edit #postproduction #fixitinpost #post #editor #filmediting #storytelling #cinema #movies #photo #UCFFilm

In December, I was hired on as the editor and script supervisor of Grace Tompkins’ and K.L. Sanon’s UCF Coca Cola Refreshing Films spot, Screening Love. This month, Post-Production is coming to an end and soon enough everyone will be able to see the fruits of the crew’s incredible efforts. I’m incredibly grateful to be part of something so special! #cocacolarefreshingfilms #screeningloveucf #ucf

This was a personal practice project completed at the beginning of this year, using footage purchased from Editstock. It's a news package centered around CoLab Studios, a photography and teaching space located in Brooklyn, NY that aims to empower creatives, but especially creatives of color. While I've improved a lot since completing it, I'd like to share the edit anyway as it was still something I enjoyed working on immensely due to the subject material.

My submission for Editfest 2024, a 30-day editing competition that took place a few months ago, hosted by Filmsupply. All participants in the category I submitted for were asked to make a 1 minute trailer (for a movie concept of our choice) primarily out of footage on Filmsupply's website, that also used at least one song from a playlist provided by Musicbed. My song pick was "Mirrors" by Emma Frank. The movie concept I created for the trailer for was as follows: A horror-romance centered around a bloodthirsty monster falling for a widow after sensing the overwhelming cruelty in her heart that she desperately tries to smother, and the unusual bond that develops between them when her true nature is forced out.
