Unknowingly while travelling through the Californian desert we have stayed in the motel where in 1997 David Lynch made ‘Lost Highway’, somewhere between that, an obsession with the DiCorcia 90’s hustler portraits, ‘Doom Generation’ and our crumbling motel room in Death Valley, came this portrait of one of my best mates, who I’ve spent over a decade photographing 💕
A very Saltburn summer on SX—70, with Michael Howells for Galliano floral chandeliers in the ballroom, stolen Van Eyck’s in the library, broken surf boards in the study and motorbikes in the drawing room 🤍
