Micha Schnabel and Vanessa Jean Speckman are back at the Lounge!
They are a modern day folk and punk duo rebelliously and joyfully reporting from the front lines of present day America. Think Jim Carroll colliding with Patti Smith in the alley back behind the donut shop that used to be a Taco Bell.
Special guests that evening are Roger Bryan (rock and classic American songwriting with both grace and recklessness), and Photosound (post-punk and indie rock).

Recording for our new LP is done! We did the bulk of it over a weekend back in September before John went to work on tour. In the new year, we snagged a few quick ones here and there before getting the last odds n’ ends done last night. Special thank yous to Nick Spacone, Frank Misiejuk, and Katie Wasserman for their excellent playing and willingness to help us out. And of course, thanks to John Angelo for all the things he does, big and small, that make everything work so well. Let’s get this shit done and out!

When Passed Out went on injured reserved, we got called up to play in their place. After the last couple laid back shows, we’re looking forward to cranking the amps with @main_breaker716 and @peakfun.band at @thecavebuffalo
Almost done. We did the bulk of the recording over a weekend back in September, and recently picked back up with two short morning sessions. One or two more snatch and grabs with John Angelo and we should be all wrapped up on the new record. Aiming for Sept/Oct release.
