The logic of war has changed, but our language hasn’t caught up. War is no longer just fought over land or bodies. It has expanded into systems that predict, organise and control reality itself, our technologies.
What Yuk Hui calls Cosmotechnics reminds us that technology is never neutral, but shaped by culture and worldview. So what happens when conflict moves beyond territory, and into the systems that structure how reality is governed? @razatari breaks down this shift and what it means for the world we’re entering.

🚲 A Year with a Lime Bike
🚲 No proper consultation. Richmond is moving to a single e-bike operator, removing competition and limiting consumer choice.
⚖️ This shouldn’t be about which provider pays the council the most it should be about consumer rights, fairness, and real choice. 🚲 Other boroughs take different approaches: Hackney allows a small number of approved operators under strict rules, while Hammersmith & Fulham is expanding multiple operators to increase competition and choice. Across London, boroughs operate in silos, each setting different rules.
🚫 A single-operator system creates a monopoly, removing alternatives on price, availability, and service. Which sadly creates a NIMBY approach which will clog boundary lines as although a drive through is offered anyone who rides an e-bike knows it’s as useful as a poor practical solution if your destination is within the no stop zone.
🚲 The argument that providers should not power down at the boundaries is perfectly understandable why should a provider who is banned have to take the cost of abandoned bikes within a no stop zone.
📰 Recent reporting has also raised claims of “bullying” by providers for alerting customers that services may be ending in certain areas. This narrative feels unusual, as it is standard practice for companies to inform users when access to a service is changing or being withdrawn.
🌉 With Hammersmith Bridge closed, Sheen Gate disrupted, and the South Circular heavily congested, people need flexible transport options not fewer.
🚲 Residents should decide how to spend their money and which service works best for them.
⚠️ This is about choice, access, and keeping competition in local transport.
✍️ If you agree please take a moment to sign the petition I would be very greatful, I am aware this is not a usual post but it has meant that for me I can get to hospital appointments and to the park to take photo’s etc, 🙏 👇

WELCOME TO THE “SAFEHOUSE DE S.W.I.F.T.I.E.”, A SOLO EXHIBITION FROM RAZA TARIQ AT MEADOW, OPENING ON SATURDAY THE 28TH FEBRUARY, UNTIL 28.06.26
Step inside a near-future remote safehouse belonging to the fictitious organisation “S.W.I.F.T.I.E.” set within a council-flat-cum-hacker-house: illegally reproducing high level surveillance technologies, trafficking digital muslim avatars and laundering money for supernatural, superintelligent & superwealthy clientelle. A world of residual back-alley technologies, petrol-based biohacking, RS3 remaps gone haywire, prayer beads turned into wires, souls transferred via wire and ritual participatory botfarms.
Soundbaths are so last year, come swim in a sea of lithium-ion 🛜🤿🏊🏽♂️💧💆♂️💆♂️💆♂️🧑🏭

We’re excited to announce Raza Tariq (@razatari ) as the winner of our Digital Art Residency and the first artist in residence at our new Digital Art Centre in Camden.
Raza is a London-born conceptual artist whose work examines ritual & technē as coextensive systems. Over the next four months, Raza will be working on PURE PROFIT, a project that reimagines London’s ATMs as spaces for spiritual reflection rather than financial transaction. Blending sculpture, digital media, AR and sound, his work draws on Sufi philosophy and contemporary tech culture to interrupt everyday routines and create moments of pause and ritual within the city’s infrastructure. Raza’s practice directly responds to our curatorial programme The Body, The Mind, The Soul, and resonates with our current exhibition PROPHECY, which explores the intersections of spirituality, mysticism and technology—inviting reflection within an accelerated world.

Join us for the presentation (and serving) of a new artwork from British Islamic Contemporary artist Raza Tariq on our Olive Grove this Sunday afternoon 12 - 2pm.
A site-responsive intervention in the midst of the olive harvest, exploring Prophetic symbolism, paradisal botanics, and the sensory as a mode of contemplation.
The artist wishes to propose this as an offering to the memory of the avant garde 70’s counter culture spirituality which birthed the blessed Habibiyya community of Orgiva and Azahara, and hopes to carry forth its spirit with this work.
All are welcome, we hope to see you at Azahara this Sunday ان شاء الله 📿🍥🕊️🍇
Last week Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin were caught on a hot mic discussing organ transplants and the possibility of humans living to 150.
The recent hot topic of discussion amongst elite billionaires is transhumanism, the idea that the human race can evolve beyond its current physical and mental limitations. While the idea has roots in evolutionary theory, the impatience of these elites drives them to pour their hoarded wealth into technologies which speed up the process, for them and only them.
From Issue 03, @razatari writes about the 1%’s mission to shed their mortality with AI churches and nootropic pill cocktails, and the belief that advancements in bio-tech will future-proof themselves from a planet that data centers are destroying.

The Fake Tour rolls on — from Paris to London!
The Dupe Issue: London Edition 🇬🇧💷🇬🇧
@caitcmo and I are taking fake culture on the road — hosting intimate conversations and workshops across cities about fakes, dupes, deepfakes, and the shifting meaning of authenticity in the digital age, fashion, social spaces and beyond!
What exactly is the output for all of this? Honestly, we don’t know yet— and that’s the point!!!!!
Each city brings its own vibe, each convo evolves, and every landing place feels fresh and different and similar at the same time…. If that makes sense lol
Grateful for everyone who pulled up and made last night something special. Swipe for some real moments (we promise).
The Fake World Tour isn’t slowing down anytime soon…
So where should we head next??????
