Nov 4th marks one year without you on this Earth brother. Honestly can’t believe I’m writing this still. Some things you may think will never change but nothing is promised. Some people you may think will always be here, but that isn’t a guaranteed. Death and the levels of grief has been hard to process and forces you to look and understand your own mortality different. I lost one of the closest people to me and it doesn’t get easier by the day. It feels like yesterday I got that call that woke me up out of my sleep and changed me forever. A piece of me is missing and I still haven’t felt the same but we march on in your honor. The last time I heard your voice we were nerding out over Marvel and I had no idea I would get that call 12 hours later. I was in the hospital not sure if I would make it and you checked on me every single day helping me fight until I got out. A brother, a friend, a father, amazing rapper and my right hand. We miss you down here Tristan. Losing your best friend is never easy, but keeping your spirit alive isn’t hard. Not a single day you don’t cross my mind.
