Happy Ma’s Day to the Judemeister. She instilled her work ethic in me and I’m forever grateful for everything she taught me by example. When I told her I wanted to be a wrestler, her answer was simple: “then go do it”. She was the toughest woman I know, and I know some tough ones. I see her in my girls every day. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there doing the hardest, and best, job in the world.

I love this dude. @thelucasbryant is just one of those people. Good. Stupid. Hilarious. We met on the set of Haven. He was one of the leads. I was a wrestler who had just retired who didn’t have much idea of what I was doing. We grew up 20 minutes from each other and had an immediate southern Ontario small town kid connection. Yesterday I got to see him in person for the first time in a decade. So we did what any two small town Canucks(and the other grumpy one I team with) would do. We drank copious amounts of coffee and people watched at Venice Beach. Nathan and Dwight had a good day. I think Jay(McCue) even did too. #haven
Not the result we were hoping for in the Olympics but congrats to Team Canada on silver. Me and @gurvsihra@harvsihra decided to celebrate in the most Canadian way we could think of. Timmys. Oh Canada. 🇨🇦
I sit with our lil Haven every day. We spend time. Relaxing. Peaceful. Gentle. Sometimes though, I get stuck focusing on her scars. It boggles my mind that someone could do this to such a sweet, little soul. It makes me very angry. Our vets think she had acid thrown on her. Was tied up. Possibly never out of a crate according to the story her feet tell. She was 8lbs when Beth flew to San Diego to bring her home. The rope marks are still there. But healing. Her skin is still struggling. She has good skin days and bad ones. But it’s healing. What never changes? Her. Her soul. Her loving soul. The looks of appreciation and love she gives us. The snuggles. Her little grunts. Her toxic farts. She’s one tough cookie that I look to for inspiration in how to handle the hurdles life can sometimes place in your way. She changes my anger to gratefulness because we have her now and she is lavished with love. If you’re looking for a pup, give @roadogs a peek.
