Robber Fly Predatory Behaviour
1. Robber flies use their sharp, pointed mouthparts to pierce the exoskeletons of their prey and suck out their bodily fluids.
2. They are able to fly at high speeds and are able to catch fast-moving insects such as bees and dragonflies.
3. Some species of robber flies are known to mimic the appearance of bees or wasps in order to trick their prey into approaching them, making them more efficient predators.

Listen, if you spot a flat, papery-white oval tucked under some bark or in a rocky crevice, you’re looking at a huntsman spider’s egg sac. These things are usually about 1.5 to 2 inches wide, and they’re packed—we’re talking anywhere from 100 to 400 eggs in a single go.
The mother spider doesn't just leave them hanging, either. She’s on total lockdown duty for about three weeks, clutching that sac with her pedipalps or hovering right over it.
