Week one in the books and the house demolition is complete; the lot is now cleared and ready for the next phase. We’re fortunate to have awesome clients who enjoy being part of the process—even if that means getting their hands dirty and knocking down some walls—and who trust the vision and process from start to finish. Up next is the removal and fill of the old pool and building of the new pad where the future home will take shape.

“Completed in 2025, the ADU shares an access door with the main house, but maintains self-sufficiency and privacy both spatially and from the curved wall that shields the dwelling from the cul-de-sac.
Constructed with grey concrete masonry units (CMU) as both the exterior and interior finished material, the accessory dwelling unit (ADU) draws inspiration from studio founder Benjamin Hall’s childhood memories of travelling through the Southwest US with his father.”

To address this, we designed and constructed this impressive 450 square foot freestanding deck, expanding the entertainment area and enhancing the enjoyment of this stunning Camelback home.

Located in the Moon Valley community of Phoenix, Arizona, this unique residence serves as a compelling case study in generational housing. Situated on a modest suburban lot, the property offered just enough usable space to add a second home in the form of an attached Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU).

Aquafire® is a type of electric fireplace insert powered by water that uses ultrasonic technology to create a fine mist that mimics the appearance of flames and smoke. These fireplaces do not produce actual flames, but instead, they create a realistic-looking flame effect using LED lights and water vapor.
