Rapt - The Art of Indulgence

We are Everything to some, but very little to Everyone. Once upon a time, in the not-so-distant year of 2009, there emerged a coffee shop named TRUTH. crafted by the visionary @daviddonde This wasn’t Donde’s first foray into the aromatic world of beans; he had already gifted South Africa with its premier artisan roastery, Origin Coffee. And it was quite nice, indeed. Donde’s aspirations transformed a Victorian warehouse, circa 1898, into the home of @truthcoffee.capetown . This metamorphosis took a year and centered around the vintage 1940’s roaster, Colossus. The world took notice, with accolades from The Times and The Guardian hailing it as the globe’s top coffee shop. And life was, unquestionably, good. The End. But, oh, not quite. The plot thickened as Donde unfurled a string of new ventures: the clandestine speakeasy @art.of.duplicity , a rendezvous of secrets and spirits; @raptindulgence , a sweet escapade through a Roy Lichtenstein-inspired chocolate fantasy; and @flourmarketct , a Bauhaus-inspired bakery where the air is always thick with the scent of freshly baked epiphanies. Each chapter is a testament to the creation of the EXTRAORDINARY, blending healthier choices with a touch of whimsy, and cherishing the timeless over the fleeting. But the story? Oh, it’s far from over. For here you are, dear reader, a co-author in this unfolding narrative.
