This year, we’ve partnered with local care homes in Southwark, Agin and Mission Care homes, to create small, personal moments of joy for residents in care. Our teams are coming together to buy individual gifts for every resident, with the simple aim of making the festive season feel a little brighter. Loyalty programmes are meant to make customers feel valued. But in a VUCA world, many make people feel judged. Our Strategy Director Natalie Smith, explores why this matters, and how brands need to show up differently in turbulent times. In research sessions, customers weren’t excited by points or tiers. They were uneasy. “What if I don’t spend enough?” “What if I can’t keep up?” That’s not disengagement. It’s vulnerability.
