We’ve lived at least 10 lives in the past 2 months. But what keeps me sane is still finding Lebanon the way I know it exists. The Beirut I love. My people. My tribe. Life doesn’t wait. We’re exhausted but no one will ever understand what it is to be Lebanese and to still love life even under the drones. ♥️ #akh #lebanon #iloveyou #spring #beirut

Sharing this tip in case it helps one of you who is also dealing with grief 🩷🩷 This wall brings me so much joy. I also put the photos of my dad on top of doodles my kids did. Somehow I hope it’ll help them connect. Please share your ways to deal with grief in the comments 👇#grief

LEBANON FUNDRAISER POP UP LONDON: we’re doing a little pop up fundraiser in london together with @raphaellemacaron next saturday. all sales / proceeds from this pop up will be donated in equal parts to @beit.aam and @tanseqeye_shaabeye_lebanon , we will cover all print and manufacturing costs out of our pocket. we will have our full discography available on vinyl, raphaelle will have a selection of big fine art giclée prints as well as smaller risograph prints. we will also have 2 exclusive limited edition releases on 7“ vinyl lathe cuts in a run of 15 numbered copies each, 10 of which will have handmade covers by raphaelle. 7“ number one is by the wonderful duo @kazdouramusic and will include their current single „and then?“ with the previously unreleased instrumental on the b-side, the other single is by a band called „andromeda“ and was recorded in the early 1980s in beirut.. It was only circulated in a run of maybe 10 cassettes at the time. these 2 releases will only be available at the event and they are limited to 1 per person. we’ll also be playing some lebanese records, so also happily come through if you just want to get a tea or coffee. shoutout to @kotn for hosting us at their London store and helping with production, also many thanks to @tuneforkstudios for their logistics help. poster design by raphaelle macaron.

When the world feels uncertain, art frequently serves as a silent language for expressing optimism, unity, and perseverance. Across the Middle East, artists are increasingly using artistic expression not only for personal contemplation, but also as a collective gesture, one that transcends borders, politics, and headlines. In this setting, modern Middle Eastern artists are developing a visual language that expresses not just hardship, but also perseverance and caring. KHAMSA has put together a list of all the artists who’s works speak directly to our hearts. Swipe and visit Khamsa.com for more. #ArabArt
