Deux jeunes couples décident de se livrer à un jeu dangereux : révéler la pire chose qu’ils aient faite dans leur vie. Mais lorsque Emma (Zendaya) , future mariée, dévoile une part sombre de son passé, l’atmosphère bascule. À quelques jours de leur mariage, Charlie (Robert Pattinson) peut-il encore regarder celle qu’il aime de la même manière ?
Avec The Drama un film mélodrame romantique sous tension presque un huis clos émotionnel, qui explore avec justesse les failles du couple et le poids du passé dans une relation amoureuse. Le scénario est très solide : il interroge en profondeur le couple. On peut changer ? Accepter l’autre par amour ?
Emma ne cherche jamais à se justifier ni à minimiser ses actes. Au contraire, elle les expose avec une honnêteté presque brutale, la situation inconfortable. Charlie, lui, vacille. Submergé par ses pensées, influencé par le regard des autres, il devient le reflet d’un dilemme : on peut aimer quelqu’un est accepter son passé ?
La mise en scène reste simple , mais sa reste intéressants, les pensées du futur marié et les flashback de Emma. Très psychologique.
Zendaya, Robert Pattinson livres une performance incroyable, la confusion, la colère et la douleur. Leur alchimie fonctionne.
The Drama un film vraiment sympa et je me suis dit qu’il allait pas me plait l’idée et originale. intéressant, parfois dérangeant, mais surtout profondément humain.

After watching this, I think it's time we abolish that "We listen and we don't judge mentality" tbh because @zendaya character in this ... WOAH, Imma judge just a little bit, but Imma still give her grace. Same with Robert Pattinson's character, he can get some lashings to!!
