Heavy gusts and the worst snow I‘ve skied all season. Still, an adventure was had and every day spent in the mountains is a good day.
Flying over water really does amplify the sense of feeling weightless and free in the air.
Managed to find a snow free launch site last week with Timo and Merle to start a new year of flights with an ice cold hike and fly.

Our latest short film tells the story of @manonmoulin , a beekeeper from the Swiss Alps whose life moves with the rhythm of her bees.
We spent time with her in the mountains, observing her quiet routines, the care she brings to each hive, and the connection she shares with the landscape around her.
Through her story, Mountain of Honey explores what it means to live in balance with nature and to protect the small things that keep our world alive.

The Grand Tour des Combins has been on my to-do list in @valaiswallis for a while. Last week @fabiozingg , @twintheworld and I finally got a taste, hiking from @paysdusaintbernard towards @verbier and it
left us wanting to come back for the other sections.
In three days we covered about 38 km and around 5’500m of elevation, following trails through forests, alpine meadows, along glaciers and rivers.
This section from Bourg-St-Pierre to Mauvoisin along the northwestern side of the Grand Combin massif had it all and gave us a concentrated dose of everything Valais is known for. Hiking new trails, seeing the region from a different perspective, and adding two more huts to the list made this a rewarding adventure.

Couple sneaky snaps from a little Autumn outing 🏔️
Warm weather for the hike and no wind at 4000m allowing us to fly off the Bishorn and save our knees a 2000m+ descent. Such a scenic flight!
