We really thought this place would be part of our story this year. Isla Huacasi, standing tall in the Salar de Uyuni, one of the most surreal landscapes I’ve ever experienced. 🇧🇴
But sometimes things just shift and you have to accept it.
Inflation is hitting Bolivia hard, gas prices went through the roof and at some point we had to sit down and be realistic about it. As everything in life has to feel right and not forced, we decided to pause this trip @sol.expeditions 🥹
I’m not gonna lie, it’s a bit of a strange & sad feeling. Places like this stay with you for a long time. And trust me, I am the most impatient guy, when it comes to trips.
But maybe that’s part of it.
Letting things breathe a little.
Coming back with fresh energy.
April 2027, we will be back! After all this time, I’m already super excited to come back with a whole new perspective.
