We are proud to present to you Ralph Session - Everything feat Brandon Markell Holmes
It was a rainy day back in Brooklyn, March 2025. I was at Toucan Studios linking up with @brandonmarkellholmes for the first time. We weren’t sure what we would lay down that day. He went through a bunch of my demos, found his favorite and jumped on the mic. From the start he knew where to take the track. Fast forward to when I got back to Barcelona I really dove into the vocals and arrangement from the Brooklyn session. By then we knew the name of the track would be called “Everything”. I hired Trumpet player, @joaquinmurofinn for the horns and the song was complete! I sent the song to @jimpster_gram and he told us about the @freerangerecords 30 series he had planned for 2026. 30 artists, 30 songs! Fast forward and here we are on release day as part of Volume One which includes tracks from Josh Wink, Phillippa, Lovebirds, Nacho Marco and Palm Skin Productions.
Shout out to @robertpermo for the hook up at Toucan Studios!
Quintessentials 100 landed at the HQ! Exciting times! Lots of hot house tunes from @ralphsession , @matchiavaroli , @swiss_shaka , borrowed identity, simoncino and @djmarcuspaulson !
And we love those @junodownload reviews 👌🏻:
To mark the dizzying achievement of notching up 100 releases, London deep house imprint Quintessentials has served up something rather special: a compilation of unheard cuts that are, as the title suggests, ‚Quite Essential‘. There’s plenty to enjoy throughout this expanded digital edition, from the classically roll and warming, NYC-influenced contribution from Ralph Session (‚Lost In The Music‘), the piano-powered peak-time joy of Shaka (‚Black Swan‘), and the dreamy, Mr Fingers-ish excellence of Peter Raou (‚Time Is This‘), to the late ‚80s jacking futurism of Black Fan (‚Lanzarote‘), the timeless deep house nostalgia of Simoncino (‚Vae Victis‘), and the raw bleep & bass revivalism of Marcus Paulson (‚Bleep You!‘). In other words, it’s a genuinely fantastic compilation. Here’s to 100 more releases!
Enjoy the release and lets go for 200 😉

A true reminder that original music still hits when it’s in the right hands, Everything draws inspiration from the golden era of Philly Soul—without falling into retro pastiche. Instead, it channels that timeless influence into something fresh, emotive, and full of energy.

Driven by Brandon Markell Holmes’ powerful, soulful vocals, this is a record built to last—one that feels just as at home on a dancefloor as it does on repeat listening. Expect a track that resonates now and well into the future.

@junorecords Review
Like Dave Lee's Z Records imprint, Micky More and Andy Tee's Groove Culture label delights in joining the dots between disco revivalism and organic soulful house. Naturally, this attractive signature sound comes to the fore on the third instalment of their ongoing Groove Is In The Heart series. The duo step up first, with a little help from Giani Bini and vocalist Angela Johnson to drop the horn-toting, soulful disco-house joy of 'In The Stone', before Ralph Session and DJ Funk drop the more thickset, walking bass-propelled disco-goes-house heaviness of 'Let The Rhythm (Guide Us)'. Memi P and Giselle Jackson's 'Make It My Own' is a superb chunk of disco-laced soulful house excellence, while DJ Passion and George Jackson deliver a fine 'UK Mix' of Audiowhores and Angela Johnson's piano-powered 'Touch The Ground'.
